Eleanore Christiansen, M.H.S.A. rejoined MedStar Health in 2010 as Director, Return on Innovation, for the MedStar Institute for Innovation. She spent the previous three years with Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group as a result of the acquisition of Azyxxi (now Amalga Unified Intelligence System) from MedStar Health. Eleanore had previously worked for the Azyxxi team at MedStar Health as the Director of Special Projects, where she managed a grant program as well as helped to grow and expand the Azyxxi solution inside and outside MedStar.

Eleanore’s background includes an undergraduate degree in classical studies, pre-medicine, and bioethics from the University of Virginia; several years in IT consulting at Accenture; and a graduate degree in health administration from The George Washington University.
